Welcome to Southeast Tallahassee
From a local real estate point of view, the city of Tallahassee is divided into four quadrants. Southeast Tallahassee stretches from approximately the Tome Brown Park/Apalachee Parkway area southwest to Highway 90 West and along the border of the Apalachicola National Forest. The western part of Southeast Tallahassee is quite close to Downtown, and features lots of shopping, dining, and business development. Moving east, the community becomes quieter, more lush, and filled with parks and trails. It’s a popular choice for residents who want to be close to conveniences and work, yet crave a small-town community feel and want to be close to parks and nature.
